    Evelyn earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work in 2019 from Weber State University. In 2022 she earned her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Within her undergrad and graduate program, Evelyn gained experience in the mental health sector by serving her internship at the Division of Child and Family Services and completing her practicum at the Ogden City School District. With her education, she was able to obtain employment for the past 5 years serving adolescents in the school sector as a case manager and as a community school coordinator.

    For her scope of practice, she enjoys working with adolescents and young adults as they try to overcome milestones that require change and growth. Evelyn understands that as humans we are constantly evolving as our systems, peers, and life circumstances change. Her goal is to listen to you, connect with you, and empower you no matter who you are or what your life’s story entails. During sessions, Evelyn will focus on implementing various techniques from evidenced-based treatments that will best suit your needs. Currently, she has been trained in utilizing techniques used in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Gottman. As her client, she is committed to doing everything in her power to create a safe, professional, and compassionate environment for you.
