  • Haylee Burnett, CSW

Haylee received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, as well as a master’s degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University. Haylee has experience working with adolescents and adults with a variety of backgrounds, needs, and experiences. She has worked with a range of mental health and relational concerns. Haylee particularly enjoys and currently focuses her work with adolescents and adults affected by anxiety, depression, trauma, and LGBTQ+ populations, including teens and their families in this sphere.

Haylee strives to view each individual holistically, looking beyond the therapy room to include the context of their background and environment in her understanding of her clients. She takes a “team-effort” approach with each client, encouraging them to have a significant say in their experience in therapy. Rather than using one method or modality with everyone, she uses a flexible, eclectic approach, applying evidence-based interventions and principles from a variety of theories as determined together with the client to be the best fit. She has experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the Unified Protocol (UP), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Above all, Haylee strives to help her clients feel seen, accepted, and supported as they work to make positive changes in their lives. She is trauma-informed and works to make her sessions safe spaces for her clients to express themselves authentically. She is honored to have the opportunity to join her clients on their unique journeys of change, discovery, healing, and growth.
