Twyla Ball, MSWI

Twyla is a dedicated therapist, with a solid educational foundation to underpin her professional practice. She brings knowledge and experience with her bachelor's degree in Psychology and the imminent completion of her master's degree in Social Work at Weber State University. Twyla's diverse career has spanned many different client demographics, including seniors, adults, children, and people living with disabilities, allowing her to develop a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of the human experience.

One of Twyla's passions lies in assisting women and men navigate the complex terrain of challenging life transitions. She is especially aware of the unique struggles that women can face, and strives to provide a caring and supportive environment for them to explore their emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Twyla also works with adults experiencing relationship concerns, divorce, anxiety, grief, and addiction. With a compassionate and evidence-based approach, she helps clients of all backgrounds confront these challenges. Twyla uses various therapeutic models to empower and support her clients including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness practices.

Central to Twyla's therapeutic philosophy is the notion that everyone possesses their own unique strengths and challenges. She believes her clients are the true experts of their own lives.
