Marci earned her bachelor’s in Social Work from Weber State University and her master’s in Social Work from University of Utah. Marci began her social work career working with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance abuse and severe mental illness. She also has experience working in school settings with children and youth in the special education program. Marci is specialized in providing outpatient therapy for children, adolescents and young adults living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety and depression. She also works with individuals addressing self-esteem concerns.
Marci uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches in her work as a therapist. She is skilled at taking a non-biased approached and building a strong therapeutic relationship with each of her clients. She values engaging her clients in experiential learning and strives to create these opportunities in the therapy process.
