Mandee Rodriguez, CSW

Mandee earned her bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from Weber State University in 2015. She received her Master of Social Work from Weber State University as well in April of 2024. Mandee has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years in a variety of settings. Her most recent experience was as a case manager for families with children in the NICU at McKay-Dee Hospital. Mandee is passionate about perinatal mental health, the postpartum experience, and women’s issues in general. She also focuses her work with both adolescents and adults who may be experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues, in addition to working with the LGBTQ+ community. She is a Certified Crisis Worker by the State of Utah.

Mandee believes that therapy is a collaborative process and aims to meet clients where they are. She strives to make her time with clients as warm, safe, welcoming, and inclusive as possible because she understands how challenging it can be to be vulnerable with someone new. She strongly believes that everyone has strengths, and that those strengths can be used to foster positive change and growth. She has training in CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and Written Exposure Therapy and incorporates them into her work to help clients meet their goals.

In her free time, Mandee is most likely to be found spending time with her loved ones, though this often looks like playing with and being ordered around by her toddler. Her self-care includes time spent curled up with a good book, taking kickboxing classes, creating art when she has the time, and traveling and experiencing new places and cultures.
