Lindsay Wright, MSWI

Lindsay is finishing her Masters degree in Social Work at Utah State University.  She received her undergraduate degree from BYU-Idaho in Marriage and Family Studies in 2022.  Lindsay has been married for over 2 decades and has raised three daughters. Her life experience combined with her education allows her to relate and feel deeply as she connects with clients, especially through the difficult and dark moments we all find ourselves in.  She has experience working with adolescents and their families in the school system.  She also spent her first year practicum providing therapy for women, adolescents, and couples.

Lindsay has always been passionate about relationships of all kinds, especially marriage and parent-child relationships.  She has also come to understand how vital a relationship with self is. Family and mental health are priorities for her. She recognizes that when we take care of ourselves and learn to appreciate who we are as individuals, we are better able to function in all areas of our lives.

Lindsay honors time as one of the greatest elements of change.  Healing, growing, learning, and repairing all require the process of time.  The smallest positive steps forward can change our life trajectories in a meaningful way. As a therapist, she meets clients exactly where they are.  She believes there is something really powerful about seeing a person for who they are and learning about how their life experiences have impacted and shaped them.  Lindsay really values the therapeutic relationship and believes it is a great accessory for change. She believes most humans function best when they have a support system backing them.

Lindsay provides individual, couple, and family counseling and takes a strengths-based, client-centered approach to therapy.

Some of Lindsay’s interests include baking, quilting, camping, playing cards, traveling, car-karaoke, and listening to audiobooks.  She loves trying new things and has recently dabbled in beekeeping and learned how to swim, dirt bike, and play the banjo. She is happiest when spending time with family and friends and she enjoys the unconditional love she gets from her two puppies.
