Jackie received her undergraduate degrees in History and Psychology from Utah State University in 2009. She is working towards her MSW at Utah State University Kaysville and will graduate in 2025. She completed her foundation year practicum at Davis Behavioral Health, where she worked in their Crisis Recovery Unit.
Jackie is particularly passionate about working with couples. Relationships can be one of the biggest contributors to our happiness, and she strives to help couples develop the insight, understanding and skills to create thriving relationships. Jackie works to help each partner see themselves more clearly and understand their partner in a deeper, richer way.
In addition to working with couples, Jackie loves to work with individuals struggling with the gap between where their life is and where they would like it to be. Jackie loves to help clients dig deep and discover what is important to them and how to live according to their values. Jackie strives to take a humanistic, holistic approach with her clients, understanding that challenges are often multifaceted. She seeks to create a warm, empathetic environment where growth and understanding can occur. Jackie most often uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method and Internal Family Systems (IFS) in her work.
In addition to her work as a therapist, Jackie loves spending time with her husband and three boys watching soccer, attending musicals, playing games and watching movies. She often can be found in her kitchen baking bread, cakes and cookies. She loves interior design, reading, nature walks, finding vintage treasures and going to bed early.
