Jackie received a BS in History and Psychology in 2009 and recently completed her Masters of Social Work degree from Utah State University. She has experience working in schools and previously interned at Davis Behavioral Health's Crisis Recovery Unit.
Jackie is particularly passionate about working with couples. She strives to help couples identify the patterns they are stuck in, their role in perpetuating those patterns, and how to present themselves in ways that align with their values and integrity. She also loves working with adults who experience anxiety, depression, and relationship distress. She helps clients develop a strong sense of self and build their capacity and confidence as they navigate life's challenges. Jackie takes a holistic approach to therapy, aiming to create a warm, welcoming, and client-centered environment. Jackie most often uses Systems Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) in her work.
Outside the therapy room, Jackie spends most of her time with her husband and three sons watching soccer, attending musicals, and enjoying nature. She can also be found watering her houseplants, baking, reading, planting flowers, finding vintage treasures, and going to bed as early as possible. She perpetually makes lists, watches The Great British Bake Off, and huntsdown the best chocolate chip cookie recipe.
