CJ earned his bachelors in psychology from Weber State University and his masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Westminster College. CJ started his career as a therapist working primarily with individuals struggling with substance abuse, though he also has experience working with children and youth in inpatient and residential psychiatric settings.
CJ works with individuals managing depression or anxiety, and has experience helping individuals struggling with addictive behaviors. CJ utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and REBT in his work as a therapist. He is skilled at building strong therapeutic relationships with his clients and works to create a therapy space that is free from judgement and allows individuals to feel comfortable and understood.
