Life can be tough! Whether you feel like you are trying your hardest, or feel like things rarely go your way, we all go through a plethora of emotions on a daily basis. Sometimes, we feel we have the skills to navigate our circumstances, and other times we feel left in the dark; and that is totally normal! Whether you are going through something very difficult, or just need support making daily decisions, I understand, and am here for you! I truly feel that we all have resilience and that sometimes we need a reminder of how strong and capable we really are.
No one knows you better than yourself, and I want to be the support you need to re-discover the amazing person you are. In our time together, I will provide an open environment for you to work through your thoughts and feelings without judgement. I feel that validation of your experiences helps to guide the therapy process.
I have spent the past 5+ years working with children, teens and families who have suffered from traumatic events, including sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. In doing this work, I have learned the importance of having a strong support system, and the amazing benefits that the counseling relationship can provide.
